Great stay at a cozy pub!

We had a lovely time here! The room was spacious with a super comfy bed. The food was top-notch, especially breakfast—delicious bacon and fresh coffee! Only issue was the mattress was way too soft for my liking. Perfect place for exploring the forest and just chilling at the bar.

We spent 5 nights in a standard king room. The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the cooked food was really nice. Just wish they sped up the service a bit. The bar area was cozy, but the shower was kinda outdated. Still, we had a pleasant stay overall.

We had an amazing one-night stay in a Standard King Room. The food was excellent, especially the well-cooked steak during the 50% off special, and the breakfast selection was impressive with fresh local produce. The shower in our room was fantastic, easily the highlight of our visit!

It was just a fitting option for a weekend stopover in Romsey with excellent value for money. The breakfast was really good, with quality bacon and strong coffee that hit the spot. Pick one of the bigger rooms for more space.

we had a lovely big room in a beautiful old building. the staff were super attentive but chill, making everything feel really easy. they treated our energetic toddler so well, even the locals were friendly and got involved in his games! and it was super easy to get to paultons, which is why we came. just a suggestion, maybe a swing set or lil play area for kids would make it even more family friendly.

the only downside was that having no kiddie area makes it a bit tough for families to hang out after their day out. i think they could improve on providing more options for children.

I noticed the noise from the pub downstairs could disrupt sleep, especially for light sleepers. the positives certainly outweighed the negatives, making it a solid choice for a getaway.

The King Suite was pretty spacious and had everything we needed, like a nice TV and a large ensuite with a good shower. It was really clean, and even got tidied up every day. We got some sweet treats too! The bed was comfy for the most part. The only hassle was the lack of Wi-Fi, which was a bummer, but overall, it was a cozy stay with a good vibe.

Great hotel with its excellent wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and cute bar area. I'll always remember how the staff kindly assisted my elderly parents during our first stay. I'd definitely recommend staying here. I'm returning for Easter!
